PL Blankets for the Japan Relief Effort

Project Linus will be providing blankets for Japanese children as well as US families being evacuated to US Military bases. Blankets will be shipped via the US Military and an organization called Soldiers Angels. They will be distributed by US Military personnel. I am very familiar with Soldiers Angels – they are wonderful!!!! Here is their website: www.soldiersangels.org Project Linus of East TN has committed 30 blankets so far. They will be shipped in the next week or so. If you want to send additional blankets, you can mark them “for Japan” when you make the donation through regular PL drop off locations. We are also looking for donations to help cover the cost of shipping blankets. Donations can be sent to Deb Miller.
